Ljubljana is one of the cutest European cities I have visited. We spent only one day in Ljubljana experiencing a Slovenian cuisine food tour, and fell in love with the city.

Home to about 3000 people, Vis is amongst the furthest inhabited islands and not one on the direct ferry route from either Split or Dubrovnik. That said, it has an interesting history.
From 1950 until 1989, it served as the Yugoslav National Army’s base, out of bounds to foreign visitors. It still has the air of an unspoilt paradise.
Hvar comes with a tag of “one of the 10 most beautiful islands in the world.” And despite its reputation as a party town, there are many things to do in Hvar for families.
